Chautauqua Literary Arts Buddies, previously generally known as Chautauqua Readers & Writers, is a volunteer network of writers and readers who work yr-round on behalf of the literary arts at CHQ. The College of English is delighted to announce a diversified programme of literary events this term, reflecting the variety of literary activities amongst colleagues and students. Students will analyse literary texts from up to date and historic durations, interpret informational and graphic texts, and create oral, written, and media texts in a variety of forms. The program culminated with a Grand Slam occasion open to the general public on Sunday, Could seventh at 3pm in the stunning Group Arts Auditorium on Wayne State College’s campus.
To build on our achievements, we’re working to establish an endowment fund that will help ensure the literary arts proceed to thrive in Newfoundland and Labrador for a few years to return. The Literary Arts curriculum is designed in a manner that provides for each artistic and educational approaches to literature.
